Flywheel

I am a business manager, working on Flywheel’s client services team. I consult on the Walmart businesses of multiple market-leading suppliers, helping drive organic search performance and assortment refinements for all my clients.

Walmart is famously one of the most complex retailers in the world. My job is to make my client’s lives a little less complex when selling on Walmart.com.

From organic search optimization to transactability diagnoses, I spend my days helping my clients make their businesses run better and appear in front of more Walmart shoppers. Tactically, this means I’m looking at algorithmic weighting of product attributes for keyword optimization and/or following up for the ninth time on a support ticket to get my client’s item back online. Whatever it takes to get the blue box to a customer, I’m here for it.

You know what a store shelf looks like, right? Did you know that same shelf doesn’t directly translate onto an ecommerce site? How are you supposed to find your favorite cookies if it’s not on the shelf you expect?!

One of Flywheel’s core services is using our unique modeling and insights to improve our client’s organic share of voice on the most impactful keywords. My recommendations help my clients be more efficient with their media dollars (you can spend less on paid search when your item is already the top result) and get the most relevant products in front of customers that want to see them. All I’m saying is anyone who tells you there’s no such thing as a win-win in business has never gotten a toy set on its most relevant keyword right before Black Friday.
